The process depends on what product you're ordering!
How do I order a Sizing Kit?
- A TBK Sizing Kit is required for all first-time customers to ensure the best fit!
- Sizing Kits are available for purchase 24/7 via my website. Simply choose your desired shape and length, and check out!
- Please note that sizes may vary across shapes and lengths, so it is highly recommended to order a sizing kit in each of the styles that you love or plan to try in your future press on order(s).
How do I order a Solid Color Set?
Solid Color Sets are available for purchase 24/7 via my website.
Browse the "Solids." tab and choose from a selection of standard gel colors, chromes, and cat-eye polishes! Simply choose your desired shape and length, enter your nail sizes, and check out!
How do I order a Pre-Designed Set?
Pre-Designed nails are considered "design-level" orders. These orders are accepted in a limited quantity every week.
Orders open every Monday at 9AM ET on a first-come, first-served basis. Browse the "Designs." section of my website and choose from a selection of designs in a variety of styles!
Once design-level slots are filled for the week, orders will close until the following Monday at 9AM.
How do I order a Custom Set?
All custom orders begin with a TBK Custom Consultation via Instagram DM or email. Custom orders submitted without a consultation will not be accepted.
To begin your consultation, send me an Instagram DM OR send me an email to tippedbykenz@gmail.com with the subject line: Custom Request - Your Name
During your custom consultation, we will work together to finalize your dream design and confirm pricing! Then, I will send you a link to my website where you can fill in your order details (shape, length, colors, nail sizes, and any special notes) before checking out!
Custom nails are considered "design-level" orders. These orders are accepted in a limited quantity every week.

Press-Ons
What makes these "luxury" press-on nails?
TIPPED. by Kenz uses industry-standard soft gel nail tips by Apres to ensure a seamless, durable, and long-lasting manicure.
While drugstore press-ons are made from machine-cut plastic, each set of luxury press-ons is hand-painted using salon-quality gels, polishes and enhancements, bringing the salon experience to your door.
What comes with my press-on order?
All TIPPED. by Kenz luxury press-on nail orders come with a Prep & Application Kit and instructions.
The Prep & Application Kit includes:
1 wooden cuticle pusher
1 buffer
1 alcohol pad
Adhesive tabs
1 liquid glue
1 instruction card
* Please note that TBK Sizing Kits do not come with a Prep & Application Kit.
How long will my press-ons stay on?
Luxury press-ons are designed for flexible wear. This means that you can wear them short-term or long-term, depending on your personal preference and lifestyle!
Liquid glue is best for longer-term wear. Choose this option if you want to wear your press-ons for up to 21 days! Perfect for vacation or if you like to rock nails 24/7.
Adhesive tabs are best for very short-term wear. Choose this option if you want to rock your press-ons for a photoshoot or a one-night event.
For a medium-term wear option, I recommend using adhesive tabs and a small dab of glue OR peel-off base coat and glue. Either of these options will provide more hold than just the adhesive tabs on their own, but less hold than liquid glue!
Regardless of which application method you choose, you should always follow the prep and application instructions on the instruction card included with your order! Proper prep will make for the best press-on experience and help prevent your nails from popping off.
Are they reusable?
Yes! Every TIPPED. by Kenz set can be worn multiple times.
To reuse press-ons applied with adhesive tabs, simply peel the sticky tabs off the inside of the nails and store them away for the next wear.
If you have applied your press-ons using liquid glue, simply buff away the dried glue from the inside of the nails. For best results, I highly recommend investing in an inexpensive electronic nail filer from Amazon which will more effectively remove any glue residue and increase the longevity of your press-ons.
* To ensure the longevity of your nails, proper maintenance and removal are key. Never peel, scrape, or rip your nails off, as this can cause damage to both the press-ons and your natural nail beds. While wearing your press-ons, keep in mind the cardinal rule: Nails are JEWELS, not tools.
How do I know my nail sizes?
A TBK Sizing Kit is by far the best way to ensure an accurate fit, and is required for all first-time customers.
Sizes can vary across different shapes and even different lengths of the same shape, so it is highly recommended to order a kit in each of the shapes and lengths you love or plan to wear in your future press-on order(s).
Sizing must be done on your bare, natural nails. Acrylic, dip power, gel polish or other enhancements may interfere with accurate sizing.
* Please, NEVER guess your nail sizes. TIPPED. by Kenz does not offer any refunds or exchanges for incorrect sizing, so please double check the sizes you’ve entered prior to checking out.

What happens if I order the wrong size?
Accidents happen! While TIPPED. by Kenz does not offer any refunds or exchanges for incorrect sizing, you may order replacement nails in your correct sizes.
Visit the “Replacement Nail” listing on my website and choose the style of the nail you’d like to replace (solid color, design, or gems). In the “Order Notes,” please leave a note with your previous order number and the UPDATED size and finger you’d like to order (e.g.: Order #009, Right Pinky - Size 8).

What happens if I lose a nail?
If you lose or damage a nail, I do offer replacement nails at a cost!
Visit the “Replacement Nail” listing on my website and choose the style of the nail you’d like to replace (solid color, design, or gems). In the “Order Notes,” please leave a note with your previous order number and the size and finger you need replaced (e.g.: Order #007, Left Thumb - Size 2).

Are they strong?
Yes! Every set is made with industry-standard, soft gel, full-cover nail tips. Soft gel allows for the perfect balance of durability and flexibility for a comfortable fit, and is less prone to snapping than plastic press-ons.
Every nail is also hand-painted and cured with at least 3 layers of gel polish for a final product that is strong and sturdy.
Will the polish chip?
The polish on your luxury press-ons should not chip!
Every TIPPED. by Kenz set begins with a thorough prep and prime process to ensure the best adhesion of the gel polish layers. They are then topped with top coat (matte or shiny) to lock in your design.
Of course, even the best-prepped manicure cannot withstand excessive wear and tear or abuse. To ensure the best retention of your polish, treat your press-ons as jewels, not tools, and do not use them to dig, scratch, or pry things open.

When can I expect to receive my nails?
Every TIPPED. by Kenz press-on set has a creation time of 7-10 business days. This window ensures that I can give each set the time, care and love it deserves!
Shipping time is 1-3 or 1-5 business days, depending on the shipping method selected at checkout. This is separate from creation time.
TBK is not responsible for any potential delivery delays once an order is handed over to the mail carrier. By placing an order, you are agreeing to these terms.
I do my best to ensure everyone receives their orders in a timely fashion. That being said, if you need your nails for a specific date or event, please order in advance. You can also turn on your Instagram post notifications to be alerted when design-level slots have opened up each week (Mondays at 9AM ET).
How do I apply my press-ons?
Press-ons can be applied with either adhesive tabs or glue for short or longer-term wear.

How do I remove my press-ons?
To ensure the longevity of your luxury press-ons and the integrity of your natural nails, proper removal is key!
Press-ons should be removed by soaking the hands in warm, soapy water for 15 minute intervals. For a video demonstration, watch my tutorial.
* Please note: picking, scraping, prying, or in any way forcing the press-ons off will cause damage and potentially injury to your nails/fingers and should be avoided at all costs.
Customizations
Do you accept custom nail requests?
Of course! I’m here to help make your manicure dreams a reality!
All custom orders begin with a TBK Custom Consultation. Custom orders submitted without a consultation will not be accepted, as I need to have a chat with you first to work out your desired design and budget!
To begin your consultation, send me an Instagram DM OR send me an email to tippedbykenz@gmail.com with the subject line: Custom Request - Your Name with a description of what you would like!
During your custom consultation, we will work together to finalize your dream design. Have inspo pictures? Perfect, send them! The more detail you can provide, the better!
Once we've settled on the design, I will provide pricing and a link to my website where you can fill in your order details (shape, length, colors, nail sizes, and any special notes) before checking out!
Please note, custom orders are not considered “accepted” until you have checked out using the link provided. Please follow the link and submit your payment by the end of that day. Otherwise, you may lose your design-level spot for that week to another customer.
Do you do recreations?
As an artist, I love challenging myself to learn as many trends and techniques as possible. I am happy to recreate designs you find on Pinterest, Instagram, etc. to the best of my ability, however, there are a few things to keep in mind!
I do not do exact recreations of the work of other press-on artists. I always aim to strike a balance between achieving the end result you desire while still adding my own artistic flare where possible.
Finally, I reserve the right to kindly decline any requests that are not in line with my brand vision or aesthetic. For example, TIPPED. by Kenz does not currently offer sets in the Kawaii style, full-cover bling sets, or brand-name (Louis Vuitton, Gucci foils/stamping, etc.)
Can I make changes to existing pre-designed sets?
Yes! Any pre-designed set featured on my website can be customized to your liking!
Want to make color changes? Simply leave your color change requests in the “Order Notes” section prior to checkout.
Want to make more significant changes? – like adding or removing bling, pearls, or charms? No problem! Your order will now be considered a custom request.
Instead of checking out on the website, shoot me an Instagram DM or email tippedbykenz@gmail.com with the subject line: Custom Request - Your Name. In the body of your message, please include the name of your chosen pre-designed set and a detailed description of any changes you want to make to the original design. I will respond to your DM or email to finalize all design details and provide pricing, and then I’ll send you a link to my website where you can enter your details and check out!
Shipping
Do you offer international shipping?
Currently, TIPPED. by Kenz only offers shipping to the United States.
How long will shipping take?
TIPPED. by Kenz currently offers USPS Priority Mail and First Class shipping, which guarantee delivery in 1-3 or 1-5 business days, respectively.
Please keep in mind that shipping time does not include my creation time, which is 7-10 business days.
Once an order is completed and sent to USPS, TIPPED. by Kenz cannot be held responsible for shipping delays caused by weather or any other interferences. By placing an order, you are accepting these terms.
Do you offer rush shipping?
No, TIPPED. by Kenz does not currently offer any rush shipping, so if you need your press-ons for a specific date or event, please order in advance!
Remember, Sizing Kits and Solid Color Sets may be purchased 24/7. Design-level sets (pre-designed or custom) are available in limited quantity every week, and order slots open up every Monday at 9AM ET.
What happens if my package gets returned to sender?
Sometimes a package will get returned to sender if an incorrect address is entered. If your tracking information shows that your package has been returned, please email me at tippedbykenz@gmail.com.
I do require a shipping charge to re-ship any returned packages. In this instance, an invoice will be emailed to you. Once the invoice has been paid, your package will be re-shipped.
What happens if my press-on nails get damaged in transit?
While I do my best to provide safe, secure packaging, accidents may happen when a package is in transit.
If your press-ons arrive damaged or broken, please send a photo or video of the damaged nails to tippedbykenz@gmail.com. I will replace any damaged nails free of charge, however, I do ask that customers pay a shipping charge.
Policies
Can I cancel my order?
I accept cancellations up to 24 hours after an order has been placed! Please note that refunds will be subject to a 3% transaction fee, as this is the charge passed on by Shopify.
After the 24-hour window, processing for your order has most likely begun and no refunds will be issued.
Can I make changes to my order?
Yes! I accept order changes as long as creation for your order has not yet begun. Once I've started painting an order, no changes can be made.
Acceptable changes include color swaps, sizing updates, or minor design adjustments.
Major design adjustments (e.g., adding or removing bling or charms, switching one design for a different design, etc.) will potentially put your order in a new price bracket. In this instance, please reach out to me via email at tippedbykenz@gmail.com.
To request minor adjustments to an existing order, please send me an email at tippedbykenz@gmail.com with the subject line: Order Update Request - Your Name. In the body of your email, please include your order number and a detailed description of the changes you'd like to request.

Do you offer returns or exchanges?
As each press-on set is custom-made, the nails cannot be resold and worn by another customer. Therefore, TIPPED. by Kenz does not offer returns or exchanges, and refunds are only issued if the press-ons are damaged in transit.
Similarly, I am not responsible for incorrect sizing submitted upon check out, or if any TBK policies listed on the website are overlooked.
That being said, customer satisfaction is my number one priority! I work hard in the hopes that every customer loves their nails, but if you should be unsatisfied for any reason, please contact me at tippedbykenz@gmail.com.
